Questions

How do I get a good answer?

Ask a real question in your own words — "when did Chandrayaan-3 land on the Moon?" works better than a single word. Hindi, English and a mixture of the two all work. If the first attempt does not find it, try shorter words, or switch the source language.

How do I check an answer?

Every point on an answer names the section it came from, and the answer names the article, the edition, the date it was retrieved and the page's revision id. Open the source card to read the original. The revision id pins the text to an exact version, so you can see whether the article has changed since.

What do the evidence labels mean?

"Sources found" means the sources answer the question. "Coverage is limited" means some sources match but they do not cover all of it, so part of the answer is missing rather than guessed. "The sources disagree" means two sources give different values for the same fact and both are shown. "No reliable answer found" means the sources do not answer it, and movaindia says so instead of picking the nearest sentence.

Why does it not give a confidence percentage?

Because a percentage would look like a calibrated probability and would not be one. The method can honestly establish the four conditions above; it cannot honestly produce "87%".

Does an AI write the answers?

No. Every sentence on an answer page is a sentence a source published. The sentences are selected and ranked by keyword relevance, and nothing is paraphrased. An optional on-device model can re-order the sentences by meaning; it is off by default and it writes nothing.

Why is the answer only a few lines?

Because the answer is the sentences that answer the question, not a summary of the whole article. The point-by-point list underneath carries the rest, and the full article is one tap away.

How do I save something?

Use Save on an answer or an article. Saved items live in your own browser, on your device — there is no account and nothing is uploaded. The Saved page has a "clear history" action, and your browser's own "clear site data" removes everything.

How do I change the language?

The top bar has a language control. There are two separate choices: the interface language (the buttons and labels) and the preferred source language (which Wikipedia edition to read from). Your question itself is never translated — it is used as you typed it.

What if nothing is found?

You will see "No reliable answer found", with ways out: try shorter words, switch the source language, or browse the topics. If the source was merely busy or unreachable, the page says that instead — a network failure is never reported as missing information.

Something is wrong with a page. How do I report it?

Open an issue at github.com/galeoindus/movaindia/issues, or use the feedback page. If an answer is wrong, the most useful report names the article and the revision id shown on the answer.

Can I use movaindia for medical, legal or financial advice?

No. It shows what published sources say and where they say it. It is not a professional adviser, and it is not a counsellor — it cannot listen or respond. The support page lists real services if you need them.

Who runs movaindia?

It is an independent, open-source project, not affiliated with the Wikimedia Foundation. The about page has the details, and the source code is public.
